Meet The Owner

I have been working with computers since 1989. I started working for a Fortune 500 company as a help-desk technician where I answered calls and helped people solve their computer problems over the phone.  I then became an external technician where I visited customer sites and company facilities to install, repair, or replace hardware and provide solutions for their business. After teaching other technicians and wanting to broaden my career, I became the network administrator overseeing all aspects of the central Florida region. As a network administrator, I coordinated multiple networking projects, upgrades, installs, and installations along with regional networking tasks.  It was my responsibility to ensure servers were up and running, backups were completed, inventory was accurate, and documentation was in place.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in  Management Information Systems and I have an Associates Degree in Computer Science.  I have been a project manager for a low voltage company were we performed installations of low voltage cabling, fiber, and alarm systems in various new homes and commercial sites. When the real estate market crashed, I was laid off.  In 2007, I became a law enforcement officer and have been able to serve my community ever since.

I started Keith Jones-IT in 2018 when I realized a need in my local area. With my IT experience I was able to help several local businesses with their IT needs and evolved from a break/fix company into the MSP it is today. In today’s technical world that is ever evolving, you cannot work hard enough to keep up with the Joneses and that is why my company will take away your IT challenges and make IT work for you.
